About Tajuan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Well balanced guard with 3 level scoring ability. Quick with the handles to beat the first defender, high IQ for on-the-go decision making, and strength to finish at the basket. Makes a statement on defensive side of the ball, being deceptively strong and the always interested in guarding the opposing team’s best player. Wanting the ball in the big moments!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Battle tested and huge team player. Consistently known for being vocal and as a leader. Brings the energy and a floor general.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’m a proven and tested leader on and off the court. Whether it’s leading my team to championships or through tough game-time situations. I’m even keeled and bring a positive and motivating perspective. These same skills are evident in the classroom, as I’m sought out by peers and teachers for my perspective and ability to problem solve and lead high performing groups .

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Coming back from an injury Jan 2024 was the hardest test, but I was able to come back stronger by being intentional about diet, physical therapy, training and court time. Finding balance and being committed lead to me coming back stronger and better for my team post injury.

What type of college are you looking for?

Finding a school with the academic rigor for me to meet my professional goals and play high level basketball is of the highest priority. I currently lead my team in scoring and GPA, all while taking a heavy and challenging course load of Honors and AP courses. I’m interested in studying finance, to eventually be an investment banker, as an entree to entrepreneurial endeavors.
