A high academic prospect in the 2028 class, Mills has good feet speed, a high basketball IQ and a good command of the basketball. He sees the floor and is a capable distributor for Lake Highland Prep.

Mills is a talented scoring lead guard with a blend of skill, IQ and upside. He is a capable shot maker with range beyond the three point line and possesses the quickness to create separation and generate offense off the dribble. A high IQ player, Mills understands how to read defenses, make sound decisions, and impact the game both as a scorer and facilitator. He is also a high academic prospect who brings value on and off the court. With an expanded role expected at Lake Highland Prep this summer and into next season, Mills has a tremendous opportunity to continue his development and climb the rankings as his production increases.

Mills Jr. made his presence felt with relentless activity, especially on the defensive end where his quick hands created turnovers. On offense, he showed confidence in the midrange, knocking down pull-ups when defenders sagged off. Beyond the box score, he impacted the game with energy, toughness, and a willingness to do the little things that impact winning.

Mills brings energy to every possession. He puts constant pressure on defenses by attacking off the dribble and pushing the tempo in transition. His motor and willingness to take contact have stood out, along with his hustle on the defensive end.
