Fernandez showed plenty of confidence as a shooter throughout the camp. He thrives playing off the ball and does a good job relocating to find openings in the defense and create opportunities for himself. Fernandez is at his best when he can find space and let it fly, and as he continues to develop more as a ball-handling guard, his overall potential will continue to grow.

One of the top pure shooters in the gym on Sunday, Fernandez impressed with his deep range, excellent shot preparation and quick release. The Lake Highland Prep freshman has a good feel for the game, understands how to find open space and is a capable passer who sees the floor well. He also possesses better than average foot speed, giving him the ability to impact the game beyond his shooting ability. Fernandez is a prospect to watch in the 2030 class and should continue to develop within one of the state’s premier high school programs.
