Expert Analysis
Tom Keller | Prep Hoops Scout
Moore has shown some nice development since he has enrolled at the Hill School. He did a nice job playing his role and letting the game come to him. He scored through contact inside and was able to finish from the dunker spot. He had nice timing going up to contest shots. Moore was effective as a rim runner. He converted free points at the foul line. Looking to see the more progress he makes as the season goes on.

The Hill School is hoping for the same type of production that Moore brought to Sideline Cancer midway through the AAU season, as he burst onto the scene as an athletic forward with almost unexpected bounce. He is a skilled screen-setter who can both roll and pop out to the perimeter. Moore is a threat to posterize somebody any time he’s in the dunker spot. As he continues to expand his skill set, Moore is going to generate lots of college interest.

Moore showed off his athleticism throughout his play. He was able to score from the dunker spots. He used his length to alter shots and met drivers at the rim. He runs the floor in transition. I would like to see Moore become more consistent from the foul line. With the move back to 2027 he should see some promising developments in his game.

This long and skilled lefty has been on our radar since the summer 2024 grassroots circuit where he was a standout for Team Final Red . Unfortunately, we did not get to watch him play this winter at Scranton Prep because ofa PIAA transfer ruling. However, Moore proved earlier this month at the Pitt Jam Fest that he has not missed a step. Out in Pittsburgh, the 6’8” and 200+ pound Moore was simply dominant on the interior. He scored at will on finishes from the dunker spot as well as via the offensive glass. Moore surprised opponents with his ability to elevate in traffic, catch and alley-oop and then cram it home. College coaches will appreciate Moore’s ability to post up and then convert over either shoulder. At the other end of the court, Moore’s size and enormous wingspan make him an intimidating shot blocker. Moore recently transferred to the Hill School and reclassed into the 2027 graduate year.
