Jones was the highest ranked prospect from the PH NorCal 2025 class. He has multiple DI offers. He has an improving set of guard skills, a college ready body standing around 6’4. He has the range to hit 3’s way beyond the high school line with some consistency. He showed he can readily or forcibly get into the paint using his body and balance to finish at the rim in different ways, from the top, and other angles, he has hang time to draw fouls. He hit paint jumpers.

Jones has good size for a guard, with tools to generate a buckets, he’s a willing passer, but looks for his opportunities to put one in the net. He has a jump shot that goes in more often than not. He has deep 3 range, and good bounce off the dribble for pull-ups. He’s strong enough to handle the contact on his drives into the paint, and has the hops to challenge bigs at the rim. He’ll run, and handle in transition, look for openings to go all the way or drop a 3ptr. He’ll continue to rise if he stays locked in.

We’re seeing more of what Jones can do on the court when he’s focused. The 2025 shooting guard can knock down 3ptrs at a good percentage, along the perimeter, in the corners, and transition. He’s strong enough with sneaky hops, and decent handles to finish at the rim through contact.
