a tenacious, high-IQ perimeter defender who leverages elite speed and quick hands to clamp opposing guards, compensate for height with defensive positioning, and initiate fast breaks.

s a 5'9" starting guard, my mentality is defined by a "find-a-way" competitive toughness and an unwavering teammate-first, selfless mindset that thrives on setting the tempo and making others better. Because im likely the smallest player on the court, I possess a chip-on-your-shoulder mentality, using superior skill, high basketball IQ, and relentless energy to maximize your impact.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a 5'9" 8th-grade guard, i am developing a specific set of leadership, teamwork, and athletic skills that are highly valued on and off the court. Guards, often referred to as "floor generals," develop unique mental and physical toughness that acts as an extension of the coach on the court

Yes, as a 5'9" 8th-grade guard, I faced several significant challenges, which are common for players of my size at that competitive level. While 5'9" is a solid height, in 8th grade, i be playing against opponents who have already hit growth spurts, requiring you to adapt my game to stay competitive.

What type of college are you looking for?

As a 5'9" 8th-grade guard, I am at a crucial development stage where skills and athleticism are prioritized over current height. At this stage, you should be looking for colleges that offer strong guard development, high-tempo offenses, and realistic pathways for smaller players to excel.
