has many of the tools and traits you look for in a combo guard. His mid-range jump shot can be lethal, and he can also hit catch-and-shoot threes. I also witnessed him throw down a tough one-handed dunk at the Legacy Tip-Off Classic, showcasing his vertical. He also used his bounce and reaction time to block 29 shots this year. With all of that said, he more than deserved a bump up in the rankings and is set to continue his basketball career at Oregon Tech.

had the defense’s attention much of the contest, but he still managed to make tough shots. One of his top highlights was a smooth turnaround jumper that fell. He also connected on three-pointers and finished a couple of aggressive drives. While the Vaqueros didn’t grab the win, he was consistent all year and showcased his skill.

splashed in a corner three to end the first quarter, helping the Vaqueros take a 15-14 lead into the second. Later on, he dropped in a couple more quality buckets. Defensively, he gave strong effort throughout and made life difficult for the Spring Creek guards by not giving them much breathing room and he was contesting shots.

is a phenomenal shooter who never hesitates to pull the trigger when he gets a quality look, capable of burying multiple three-pointers over the course of a game. He also showcased his athleticism earlier this season at the Legacy Tip-Off Classic with a thunderous tomahawk dunk. In addition to his scoring prowess, he is a relentless defender who consistently creates turnovers. All in all, he is a very complete player, and it will be fun to watch him perform in the postseason.

was a swiss army knife for Vaqueros win at the Legacy Tip-Off Classic. On offense, handled the ball, splashed in shots from beyond the arc., and had some very good takes to the cup (Including the monster dunk). While on defense, Jacobson was always on the move and looking to make his opponents uncomfortable. Causing more than a few turnovers. Overall, it was awesome to see the Oregon Tech commit perform as well as he did and I’m sure he’ll lead Fernley to many more wins this season.

is another Vaquero that is bound for a big season up in Northern Nevada. He stands at about 6’2 and utilizes his length to intercept passes on defense. He can block shots as well. While on offense, he likes to get downhill and he has a knack for drawing contact. If he and Stephens are both rolling, they will be a difficult team to slow down.

caught my eye with his play on defense on Saturday. He used his elite anticipation skills to come up with both steals and blocks for the Reno Ballers. Jacobson also had a few contributions on offense. He was able to get to the line, and drained a 3 as well.

The crafty Fernley guard moves up 62 spots in the rankings. Jacobson can fill it up on offense by either hitting shots from the outside, or he can shake his man and get to the cup. He can do more than score though. As he will go hard for rebounds and is unselfish with the rock. His 6’2 frame also helps when he needs to get up, and he averages just under a block a game.

had a solid performance on both offense and defense in the state semifinal. On offense, he made a couple of 3’s, lay-ups, and also got out in transition to throw down a nasty dunk that gave Fernley some juice. On defense, Jacobson played with intensity and covered ground at a rapid rate.
