Njenga came off the board when he announced that he’ll attend Salem State University. A crafty combo guard that has a great feel for the game with the ball in his hands, Njenga continued to get better during his time at Bradford Christian. The lefty guard does a good job of changing speeds, is a good passer off the bounce, and makes good decisions with the ball in ball screens. He’s a quality shooter in catch-and-shoot situations where he gets his feet set quickly. He has an off-speed game and unique movement patterns in the paint that allow him to keep the defense off balance. Defensively, he’s long and does a good job guarding at the point of attack where he can keep the ball in front of him and apply pressure to opposing ball-handlers. He should have a nice career at Salem State and could eventually develop into one of the best lead guards in the MASCAC.
