Morgan remains one of the most productive names in the state, producing a double double average in every season of his career, dating back to his freshman season. The physical wing is not just putting up comical numbers, but backing it up with a winning record at Highland through a 11-0 record. With one of the quicker second jumps at the 3A level, opposing rebounders have trouble keeping him from getting a hand on the ball, particularly given his relentless motor.

Despite primarily being a baseball athlete, Morgan was first team all-state at 3A level last season with Highland, following a tremendous 20-5 record. A physical wing who brings a relentless motor on the glass, his ability to create second chance opportunities has been essential towards that group’s offensive production. Comfortable drawing contact and scoring through contests, he continues to hold his own for one of the best coached small schools in the state.

A walking double double last season for Highland, Morgan was about as productive as one could ask. Putting up 17.3 points and 12.2 rebounds per game for the 20-5 group, the big guard makes opponents work once the shot goes up. Despite being more focused on attempts down low, he has been able to space the floor from distance.

Morgan is a player that can be a dominate scorer on the offensive end, being able to get some second chance points but also getting teammates involved. He at times can step out behind the arc and knock down some 3’s. He is a beast down low grabbing boards on the defensive end and getting the break started quickly.

A high motor rebounder, Morgan is constnatnly roaming all over the floor to gain immediate advantages in the paint. Active rotating along the baseline for a pass along the backdoor, the forward is adept finishing layups with either hand in traffic. A sturdy athlete, he can take bumps while defending the paint or dish it for finishes.

Morgan has been on a tear as of late and has really been contributing on the offensive side of the ball for the Huskies. He is a player that can also create turnovers and block some shots as well. He is a player that can score on all levels and get his teammates involved as well. Morgan and the Huskies will look to push the pace and get the Hawks to play their style of game early and often. Morgan has been a beast on the boards and will get the ball on the break being able to finish at the rim. Expect Morgan to look for some early success inside and continue his inside presence as well.
