Aubuchon returns as Denver North’s leading scorer, and he looks every bit ready for an even bigger leap. His game took a major jump this summer as he began shooting with real confidence, tightened up his dribble and showcased shot making versatility from all over the floor. What makes him dangerous is how efficiently he operates as he gets to his spots with purpose, rises with balance and converts at a high clip. With his improved accuracy, polished handle, and ability to create his own looks, Aubuchon is poised to be one of the true offensive engines in the league this year

Aubuchon put up good averages as a sophomore on a competitive and entertaining Vikings squad, but it was his play this summer that turned heads for us. He’s playing at an elite level, and if he is able to continue that into next season, watch out, City League. He moves well, breaks defenders down in isolation, and gets to where he wants on the floor. He scores from all three levels, and I expect him to make a huge jump in points per game this season as North remains competitive in their conference. He’s a player who will surely turn heads, so we wanted to get ahead of the curve here. He was at No. 67 last go round and jumps over 20 spots in this set of rankings.

From clamping up defenders to absorbing contact at the hoop, Aubuchon is a complete guard who any coach wants on their roster. Reliable and consistent, Aubuchon’s volume and efficiency never slow down, as he continues to improve along his high school basketball journey.

Sawyer was flat-out electric at times. He had one of the hottest stretches of the weekend, hitting tough shots and knocking down deep threes with confidence. He finished well around the rim and created separation with tight footwork. But it wasn’t just the scoring; he dove for loose balls, fought for extra possessions, and brought energy. With his work ethic and momentum, don’t be surprised if he has a breakout season ahead as a player. I will make sure to watch a couple of times this year. Loved what I saw from him. 

Aubuchon continues to find success attacking the rim, a willing scorer whenever the lane happens to open up enough. His quick instincts and serviceable ball skills make him a dependable option early on with Denver North, comfortably challenging defenses once he gains a driving lane. 

Aubuchon has been a steady offensive contributor for Denver North, providing rim pressure and showing his confidence handling the rock against pressure. Finding success through his confidence around the basket, he looks to pressure opposing defenses one on one. Especially assertive in the open floor, the guard looks to push the pace immediately off the defensive rebound.
