Expert Analysis
Ira Becks | Prep Hoops Scout
Savion finished as the third-leading scorer in the division at 18.5 PPG. Flat-out knows how to score the basketball. Produced consistently throughout the weekend and stepped up in key moments when his team needed a bucket. Plays with a high motor and competes with toughness on every possession. Showed strong scoring instincts, confidence, and the ability to create offense under pressure. One of the more productive guards in the event and a player that continues to trend upward.

Brooks looked like the man to beat for his NC Spartans Liles group this weekend, as he scored the ball well and looked to be involved in everything the group tried to do. He’s got a good scoring touch, hitting shots from all three levels of the court with regularity and looking comfortable in doing so. Good IQ in knowing when to score, move without the ball to help his opposing teammates, or make the simple pass in order to keep the offense moving.

Brooks was quite the presence in the backcourt at the Triad First48 JV County Clash. He showed he could get downhill and finish in traffic off the bounce. He really pushed the envelope defensively and turned steals into easy layups on the other end. He used his athleticism and quickness in a variety of ways to make his presence felt in the Team Guilford backcourt. He’s one to watch in the 2026 class at Southwest Guilford High.
