He also has a knack for mismatches where he is often at times guarding along the interior as he is an underrated rebounder for his size.

The 6-1 rising junior point guard transferred from Lowndes (Georgia) to Windermere Prep earlier in the summer, displaying the true definition of playing the point guard position. He is one of the most consistent perimeter shooting threats in the upcoming junior class. He also displays a high basketball IQ when it comes to his decision-making on when to pass or shoot the basketball. On the defensive end, he brings a physical presence where he is an above average rebounder for his size and also plays with a ton of strength. He also brings in a sneak of athleticism where he can be used in a variety of ways.

The 6-2 shooting guard plays with a prolific pace and brings in a high basketball IQ every time he steps out on the floor. Has a great combo to his game whether he is making shots from the perimeter or getting his teammates involved as he has an unselfish attribute to his game. He is a vocal leader and a floor general on the defensive end as he can guard multiple positions.

Shoptaw recently announced he’d be heading from Lowndes to Windermere Prep down in Florida but this weekend provides him a return to the peach state where he should have plenty of eyes on him. He’s a pure point guard with a great feel for the game and a high IQ. Shoptaw is elite in both the scoring and playmaking departments, some really impressive court vision and a jumpshot that he can hit from all over the floor.
