For a rising junior, Kim has really intriguing size, length and athleticism at the wing position. He had a variety of nice dribble moves to the hoop and showcased strong, steady footwork in the paint on spin moves and step throughs. He’s also a willing and hard cutter off the ball, though he loses some off-ball value because he isn’t a knock down shooter. Defensively, he’s active as a rim protector and slides his feet really well on the perimeter against quicker guards. He needs to improve his passing and feel but he has two years to do so before college. Should be a D3 guy, perhaps at a high level if he improves his offensive skill set.

showed off his terrific scoring instincts. He was making threes of the catch and pulling up while driving inside through contact using euro steps. He also used his bounce and length to block shots around the rim emphatically.

is a high-upside wing with many flashes of real ability on both sides of the court. While quite thin, his body looks like he can put on weight and fill out over the rest of his high school career while keeping an athletic frame. Kim has skills on the defensive end, having great timing defending the rim and racking up blocks down low. On offense, he gets his points when he can with layups and stretches the floor from deep in the corners. Kim is also aggressive in getting on the boards and goes harder than you would think considering his frame. He has the makings of an awesome three-and-D forward, and with continued development and growth he will intrigue coaches as someone to monitor.
