How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I like to play as a slasher/shooter. Fast paced and always looking for open teammates to pass to. If I have the chance to drive to the basket, I take it!
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I have come to find that my mental focus comes with the desire to beat out my opponents and get better. I want to be a force on the court and have come a long a way in my mental fortitude and resilience. I like to laugh and have fun while playing too because the game is what I love.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am a member of the NJHS National Juniors Honor Society for my school district and have received multiple academic honors throughout my school career.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I am the oldest of four siblings and I have been given the responsibility of “big brother” to my brother and sisters. I have been given the opportunity to volunteer at the Special Olympics and other elementary school events through my membership in the NJHS. I have also played 10+ seasons of flag football and will be working out this summer to play on the freshman team at Palmer Ridge High School
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Throughout my athletic career I have been on teams that are not skilled and don’t have good team chemistry. This has given me some perspective on what it takes to be on a good team and the work ethic I have to have to compete at the highest level. I did not make the top team last season and that gave me the motivation to work harder and reach my goals.
What type of college are you looking for?
I don’t have a particular college in mind yet.
