Expert Analysis

Watched Angiulli in the spring, in the summer and now in the fall. This young man seems to get better by the day. He’s an exceptionally hard working frontline prospect with good ball skills and the length, mobility and footwork to score at a high rate in the lane. He can also step outside and make some three-point shots as he did Sunday in Appleton. Angiulli’s growth as a player and his potential for even more advancement in the future has caught the attention of coaches from the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, among others. He’s set for a big senior season for a Wausau East program coming off a WIAA Division 2 State Tournament appearance.

Few, if any, players in the entire 17U field at the 2k25 event were able to draw as many fouls on opponents as Angiulli. The lanky and improving 6-foot-7 forward from Wausau East went to the foul line no less than eight times Saturday in a 60-51 loss to East Metro Bounce. He ended up making 10-of-14 foul shots and scored 16 points for G-Elite . Angiulli also ran the floor well and rebounded well for G-Elite . With improved strength and even more refined moves in the post,. Angiulli could be a beast in the Wisconsin Valley Conference next season.

Angiulli is a player on the rise from WIAA Division 2 state qualifier Wausau East. He has taken impressive strides in his game over the past 12 months as he has improved his weight, strength and confidence. He runs the floor well, scores near the basket, battles for rebounds and has a big upside as he continues to fill out and expand his shooting skills. Angiulli is a legitimate 6-foot-7 and has excellent length to make things difficult for opponents trying to score over him in the post. Angiulli figures to become a primary scoring option for the Lumberjacks in 2025-26 and appears poised to take on that role with continued work in the summer and fall.
