About Lucas
Expert Analysis
Martin Crownhart | Prep Hoops Scout
Lucas showed an impressive all-around game and seemed to be always around the ball making good things happen. He attacked the basket, all day, finishing comfortably with either hand through traffic. When the defense played him to drive, he was equally skilled in shooting from deep, knocking down several 3’s in each game, or finding open teammates. Three-year varsity player who looks poised to build on a strong Junior season and eclipse the 1,000 point milestone.

Lucas may not stand out with size or explosive athleticism, but he knows how to use the tools he has. In the game I watched he showcased impressive change of speed, able to just float on the ball to lull his defender to sleep, and the explode past him to get to the rim. Has the touch to score inside or from out beyond the arc. I really liked his vision in the open floor, as Lucas constantly had his eyes up and was looking to pass it ahead to an open teammate whenever possible.

Pfiffner was shut out in the first half of G-Elite’s contest with

North Gold. But the physical backcourt performer answered the bell in the second half, scoring from deep, in transition and off the bounce. His strong showing on offense helped G-Elite trim a 15-point deficit to seven midway through the second half. Although G-Elite did wind up losing, Pfiffner’s offensive execution after intermission was impressive. Pfiffner and classmate
