Rainier is a quick guard who brings energy to the court. It starts on the defensive side, as I can tell he takes pride in getting stops for his team. He moves his feet quickly and has the speed to keep up with anyone he defends. Offensively, he knocks down shots from deep with ease, rarely needing much space to let it fly from deep. He’s fun to watch on the court.
Rainier really impressed me a few weeks back at the Lynden summer league tournament. He scored from all 3 levels but shot lights out from deep. He hit off balanced 3’s, staying confident in his shot and his ability to sink them. He attacked the ball well too, using his speed to split gaps and get to the bucket.
