Knight was on fire from long range, hitting four 3-pointers in the game. Raidyn was shot ready when Owens had the ball and was able to get hot in the first quarter. Knight was also productive as a passer, finding teammates when Roland was forced to run half court offense against a set defense.

What impressed about Knight is even though it wasn’t his best shooting performance, he kept competing. Knows how to be an irritant on the ball. Raced back to save two points with a transition steal that prevented a layup. Even ran down long offensive rebounds and crashes hard on the weakside glass. Did hit back to back threes in a key third quarter stretch which extended the Rangers’ lead. There will be better shooting days for Knight in Roland’s quest for Gold. But it’s clear that even when his shot isn’t falling, he’ll find a way to make his mark.

Knight excelled at his role as a three-point specialist, Raidyn displayed terrific intangibles and a phenomenal understanding of how and where to play off the ball. The Hoyas guard keeps the defense honest and makes them account for him due to his constant baseline running and movement on the perimeter. Knight’s speed and quickness without the ball in his hands is what makes him so dangerous and sets him apart from others at his position. Knight’s teammates and coach have also showed great confidence in his shooting abilities from outside, encouraging him to shoot more and consistently getting him the ball the moment he’s open.
