Alexander could be one of the bigger wild cards in the Friends League this year, joining a cadre of transfers that have Shipley looking to make an immediate jump up the standings. A towering frontcourt presence with immense length and a developing frame, Alexander is still largely a project at this point but has the raw tools to make an impact around the rim that few in the league can match. He’s struggled to get his feet under him to this point at Sankofa Freedom in the Public League, but the increased structure in his new environment along with steady growth throughout the summer could allow for him be worked in more concertedly as a rim-runner and dumpoff threat. His development in the years to come will be critical to the Gators’ outlook and could land him on a wide spectrum of college radars.
