About Raaid

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I can shoot beyond the arc from pretty much anywhere . I have a strong drive to the basketball . I have solid ball handling to create shots for me. But most importantly I’m confident and I’m not afraid to go get a bucket. I can make high difficulty shots as well. On the defensive end I have sold foot work and I’m a solid interior defender and use my long frame to my advantage.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality on the court is to just play with the upmost confidence. My confidence is what keeps me going and is what I feel separates me from other players. Missing a few shots in a row won’t stop me from shooting because I know I’m capable of scoring.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

At this current moment I’m not in any clubs (AAU). I haven’t played AAU last season.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed teamwork on the court. I talk a lot off ball and make simple comments like “good shot or “you got it next time” to bring up the rest of my teams confidence.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Challenges I have faced on the court was my physical strength. I’ve always been tall but weak on the court . For about 5 months I have been lifting in the gym and put on muscle which completely changed my game.

What type of college are you looking for?

Any level honestly but I always aim for the best (D1).
