As the saying goes you can’t teach height and Withers has plenty of it at 6-foot-9. The senior is not only tall, but he’s long, athletic, and runs the floor well. He was a factor on the boards and defensively, but also finished some plays in transition and even showed confidence shooting the outside shot. After playing JV last season at South Medford, he’ll make an impact on both ends for Crater in 2026-27.
A transfer from South Medford, Withers is an extremely intriguing prospect due to his 6-foot-9 size, length, and overall athleticism. The rising senior runs the floor well, can finish around the hoops, and really make a difference defensively with his ability to block shots. Offensively he’s still raw and there’s still some aspects of the game he’s catching up on, but the upside is definitely there.
