-Loved Wilson’s motor as a mobile forward prospect that really impressed with his activity and length throughout the weekend. Wilson did a great job of spacing to the corner to draw shot-blockers away from the rim for slashing teammates, sprinting back in transition to block shots (even in a 3 on 1 break) at the rim, and has improved his communication in ball screen situations. His understanding of rotations and spacing has him always in position to make a play defensively– and with his combination of length and leaping ability– he served as an effective shot-blocker, rebounder, and play-finisher around the rim.

Wilson is a mismatch problem for opposing teams with his different ways he finds ways to leave his mark on the game. Wilson showed he can play with his back to the bucket. He is a threat to play above the rim. I like how he had no issues being an effective rebounder for his team.

Long rangy forward. Run the floor extremely well. Use his length to rebound and play the passing lanes. Not only will he bring size for this team down low, but his ability to comfortably to use his length to block shots. Finish at the rim and bring activity on the offensive glass will be huge overall throughout the season. Look for Wilson with more strength and aggressiveness to get more playing time. Note: Program has Quinn in the class of 2027.
