Morton had to have been one of the top scorers at Sunday’s event because it seemed like every time I was watching during his two games he was putting the ball in the basket. The 5’11” left-handed guard is very strong off of the dribble which allows him to play through contact and finish well around the rim despite his smaller stature. On the perimeter, Morton was a high percentage maker from three-point range knocking in multiple three-point shots in both games he played. Look fort the Pike Central High School star to have yet another big season as one of the top scorers in southwestern Indiana.

Morton stood out at the IBCA Top 100 as a strong, lefty point guard that knows how to put the ball in the basket. The 5’10” guard averaged 17.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists as a junior, but flys under the radar playing for Pike Central down in southern Indiana. His skill level offensively will allow him to find a home at the next level. Small college programs down his way should get eyes on him this weekend.

Morton is an impressive 2024 shooting guard who scores it very well from the mid-range. The southpaw has a nice pull-up off the bounce, and he is very good from the mid-range. He also always seems to be under control. I really like his game.
