Young has been doing a fantastic job as a primary level scoring option for A Wigg Elite UAA 17u as his overall game was on full display at Spooky Nook. Young has that quick twitch ability to go with his deep range off the bounce, allowing him to operate as a really tough check far more often than not. Young also possesses the ability to be the primary initiator on the offensive end with his experience playing the point. His role on this team is more as a feature scorer alongside Zeke Battier Zeke Battier 6'6" | SF/PF Providence Day | 2027 State NC and he finds a way to do it at a high level. He was consistently making shots in the half-court, plays at the rim in transition, and providing a ton of activity on the defensive end of the floor. Look for Young to really establish himself and earn some scholarship opportunities over the course of the next 10 months.

QJ was one of the more dynamic guards in attendance, leading his team in scoring at 18.0 PPG while consistently producing throughout the weekend. Strong lead guard with good size, pace, and feel for the game. Uses his handle, speed, and quickness to break down defenders and get to the basket with ease. Highly effective in transition and showed the ability to score at all three levels, including a solid pull-up jumper. Created offense consistently and played with confidence and control. Expect him to attract significant attention from college coaches during the live period.

Chambers may have lost some of its firepower to national programs, but Young should still keep them in contention for a state championship; he’s a crafty guard with range and court vision who should be quite the leading name in their backcourt in 2025-26

Young is an emerging floor general to keep tabs on over at JL Chambers High this upcoming season; he’s an athletic presence at 6-foot-3 who isn’t afraid to attack the paint or operate above the rim defensively; smooth perimeter threat off the bounce and off the catch; can finish in traffic and absorb contact; physical and likes to get downhill

A long, wiry floor general who stuck out with EA Prep Stars with his ability to make plays for others and attack the paint; did well to showcase his scrappiness defensively as well; will be interesting to see where he fits at JL Chambers this upcoming season given his skill set
