Fractured my wrist and was out for last 2 months of high school basketball. I learned to still be supportive of my team from the bench. I mentally went through a lot but have grown from the situation and helped stoke my fire to return even better than I was before.

Phoenix Fisher produced at a high level on Friday night, and also showcased some intriguing potential long-term. You don’t see a lot of 6’3 players who move with the fluidity on the ball that Phoenix does, and he was creating his own shots with ease against smaller/quicker guards. He can get into a mid-range pull-up, get all the way to the rack, or knock down threes off the catch. When his team needed a bucket, the ball was in Phoenix’s hands, and he wasn’t afraid to go and make a play. He helped lead his team to a win over a scrappy Powerhouse MN team in the opening game of the night.
