How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
Rebounding guard that plays much bigger than my 6’2 height. 3 level scorer. Scrappy and physical.
Midrange is my best percentage from the field and I shoot ever 40 percent from 3 as well.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I like being physical on offense and defense. Going for every single rebound and priding myself on defensive position on the post. Im just trying to give our team as many opportunities as possible by rebounding and not giving easy scores on defense.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I have a part time job working 16 hours a week at my local gas station / car wash. I also participate in weekly church service centered around Jesus Christ. I also help coach my little brothers 4th grade basketball team.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I've seen what it takes to win a championship and to be a great team. So I make sure the intensity and focus is there by my team to perform at the highest level possible. I have been able to learn how to play with my teammates and know what I have to do to help us win games.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I tore my meniscus and had complications leading to a 6 month absence in total from treatments and recovery. Was hard to overcome and get back to my best shape.
What type of college are you looking for?
A program where I can continue to develop my game and where I can get playing time, regardless of the division of college it is, D1, Juco, etc.
