Joy was simply a force around the basket. He’s strong when fighting for position and has a nice touch around the rim, while his activity on the offensive glass creates easy opportunities on putbacks. Joy also showed good recovery ability on the perimeter and can move his feet well for his size. Down low, he was a physical presence who consistently imposed his will.

Joy is a productive, hard playing combo forward with an intriguing combination of size, skill and versatility. He is an effective finisher around the basket with either hand and has impressive footwork in the paint for a young prospect. Joy handles and passes the ball well for his size, while also showing the ability to step away from the basket and knock down open jump shots. There is plenty of upside for this South Florida prospect.

Joy was another one of the bigger prospects at this years camp, and was very effective down low in the paint. He positions himself very well on the floor, and was very impressive with his post play and moves down low. He moves extremely well without the ball and was very efficient in transition throughout 5-5 play. Joy was a presence in the middle with his ability to alter and block shots.
