Owen is also another rankings riser who has been putting up solid numbers this season. We have him listed as a 6’2″ CG, but I would venture to say he plays more in the wing position and rides closer to 6’3″. Very versatile and can score from anywhere on the court. TC Central is very young, but also very experienced and goal-oriented. Almost all of their key contributors are juniors or younger, with two main contributors being freshmen. I watched Owen play in the Sault and he does an excellent job mentoring the other players and keeping order in the ranks. TC Central still has Cadillac twice and West again, as well as Petoskey two more times. This will season them well for what looks to be a very competitive D1 District 1.

Ribel is another TCC 2026 with a VERY high ceiling. He can get looks at the rim and is a confident shooter. He can really attack off the wing, can groove his jumper and features solid positional size. Ribel can move well in the open floor aand make himself a threat.

Ribel filled in for a weekend with the Midwest Stampede and was a true difference maker. He’s a smooth athlete with impressive length. Ribel is a shooter at heart that can groove his jumper.

Ribel is a very talented player with a bright future in the game of basketball. In this film clip I like his speed down the court and ability to create transition opportunities. Ribel shows that he’s willing to push the pace with the dribble or the pass and he can finish with power. He looks very strong shooting off the catch. Even if the pass doesn’t put the ball in his shooting pocket, he gets it there quickly and smoothly.

There’s a lot to like about this young man’s game. He seems to play with an aggressive confidence. Swagger if you may. Ribel can take the ball to the rim with physicality using a low front shoulder and a strong off arm to shield the defenders. He has a nice jumper with range as well.
