LaFaive is a player that I’ve had the chance to evaluate a few times and I always come away liking his game. The same can be said about the way he played in the rivalry win last week against TCC. He’s heady guard with a good game IQ. LaFaive just seemed to be around the ball and ready to make plays. He had a pretty corner catch and shoot 3 that was perfectly in rhythm.

Lafaive caught the eyes of scouts during grassroots play this summer. He’s a highly effective guard that has a feel for the game and the moments within the game. Lafaive knows what a good shot looks like and can and will capitalize on them. He’s an effective passer than gets the ball to it’s spots.

Lafaive has had a really nice grassroots season and it was good to see him excel again. I like his versatility as he can handle the ball and efficient with it, but he can play off of it with a ton of success too. Lafaive works hard off the ball and recognizes good looks at the rim. He’s a willing passer and a more than capable scorer.
