Raml showed out at The Expo and proved he’s a legitimate offensive weapon. The long, confident shooter from Mitchell displayed a smooth stroke and deep range, knocking down triples both off the catch and the bounce. His length gives him an edge to shoot over defenders, and he used it well to create clean looks. Whether spotting up or pulling up in rhythm, Raml filled it up from beyond the arc — showing that this Kernel can flat-out shoot the rock. A well-deserved spot among the event’s Noteworthy Ballers.

Owen put up some nice numbers at times last season for the Kernels hovering around that 8-9 points per game mark several times. He did a nice job guarding the opposing teams number 2 and 3 scorers. Raml will be counted on more this season to bring a more consistent offensive presence as well as be able to step into that lock down defender spot up top. From what I can tell, he has all the ability he needs to seamlessly fill those areas of need for Mitchell this season.

Raml was first off the bench for Mitchell against Orlando Christian Prep. He struggled from the field at the Classic shooting the ball, but you can see he possesses some athletic ability when he got up for rebounds. Moves well and is a fluid athlete. He’ll have a large role next year as a Junior.
