Expert Analysis
Spencer Christenson | Prep Hoops Scout
Memphis has the game of basketball running through his veins. His Dad was a standout guard at Northern State University and then became a college basketball coach as well. Memphis hit a solid growth spurt and he looks like a longer true point guard for his age group at this point. You can tell he takes the game very seriously, but he’s also calm and composed and will not pout if he makes an error. He owns the next play mentality, which can be hard to find for a young guard. He has the mental makeup to be great, and it doesn’t hurt that he’s probably the best 3-point shooter in the 2030 class as well. At Prep Hoops Brawl For The Ball, Sevareid wanted to take the big shot at the end of the game. Seems like a quiet kid, but on the court he is fearless and skilled.

The confidence that Sevareid has in his game is evident and gives him an advantage. Sevareid is a dynamic offensive threat. He’s an excellent three-point shooter with deep range and great mechanics, and he can get to the basket easily, where he finishes with both hands. The lead guard can also play-make and facilitate nicely, making him quite a difficult cover. Sevareid is a talented scorer and great competitor, capable of knocking down clutch shots.
