The 6 foot combo guard out of DGN got it done the second weekend in a row. I caught O’Reilly’s game a few days ago with his scholastic team and he went off for 3’s at an efficient clip while also providing a solid 2 way presence. This weekend with his H4H squad he provided more of the same skills. In the middle afternoon game on Thursday there was a sequence he knocked down back to back treys to alter the momentum of the game. On the defensive side of things, he showed his lateral foot movement and ability to stay in front of a ball handler to disrupt offensive rhythm for continuous seconds at a time. His point of attack defense along with his shooting skills will continue to provide valuable two-way contribution and ones that should allow him to gain traction from college coaches.

Caught O’Reilly in early afternoon game on Sunday against a talented opponent. He presents 2-way productivity and plays hard throughout. On outlets he will immediately push for break points and speed up pace. In the ½ court setting I liked the way he moved without the ball or made the extra pass to the open guy whether on pitch a heads, swings, or drop offs. Shooting wise he scored it from 3 levels on some tough treys in rhythm and buckets underneath in traffic. Defensively O’Reilly brings positive energy to the team and will be a go-to threat in the back court this upcoming season for DGN.

Another junior making an impact off the DGN bench, O’Reilly stood out with his hustle and effort plays. Despite being undersized, he grabbed key rebounds, dove for loose balls, and consistently put his body on the line. He also contributed offensively, knocking down two three-pointers, showing awareness of his role and executing it effectively.
