About Oren

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I work hard and try to accept when I make mistakes. I am dedicated and coachable. I like to make people laugh but am serious when needed. I am loud and talk to my team during play.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I realize that without team work you can't have a team win. I try to lead by example and talk to my team mates to keep everyone motivated during a game. I babysit as my summer job and have been told my empathy makes me a better player as well.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I didn't start playing until 11/23. I don't know if that is a real challenge but I definitely had to work HARD to get to be able to perform well enough to be an asset to my team.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am interested in JC, NAIA, D1 and D2 schools. I don't have any MUSTS except a good school with my major. I would prefer something within about 6-8 hours drive of the metro St. Louis area.
