Expert Analysis
Will Armishaw | Prep Hoops Scout
Scott, a wing out of Bridgeport Prep in Connecticut, is a powerful athlete that plays with a high motor on both ends of the floor. The 6’5″ wing is physically impressive, playing with above the rim athleticism and strength in the paint. He’s a big-time rebounder, particularly in traffic and doesn’t shy away from contact. He can guard up or down a position, makes plays in passing lanes, and can really get out and run the floor in transition. He does a nice job of attacking closeouts and getting downhill off the bounce. Scott is now playing out of the Darrow School in New York, which will be reflected in our next rankings update.

He showcased a versatile scoring package with a step‑back three, the lefty knocked down an elbow jumper, and a catch and shoot three from the left corner. He added physical plays, a put back dunk, a strong finish off a missed free throw, and an offensive rebound while also contributing defensively with a timely help side block.

Passes the eye-test immediately. Physically imposing wing cut with muscle. Lefty is a good leaper. Can make an impact on the glass. Scores most of his points on putbacks and downhill drives. Making multiple efforts on defense will help him reach his ceiling as a two-way standout. Has potential to be a do-everything swingman.

The big lefty passes the eye-test with his superior frame. He chews away at the offensive glass and is a freight train when getting downhill in the open floor. Defensively, his effort must be more consistent. Improving his outside shot could be a major boon. Omari tallied 24 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block vs. Calhoun. Scott has tons of upside at the next level.
