A transfer to Adams-Friendship from Chicago Prosser Career Academy, Currie is a small, shifty left-handed point guard. He comes to Adams-Friendship at a good time as the Green Devils have a good deal of talent on their roster for the 2025-26 campaign. As a sophomore at Prosser, Currie averaged 9.4 ppg. He showed plenty of quickness and aggressiveness at The Expo and was fearless in taking the ball to the basket. He did a good job of pushing the ball on the fastbreak and was a solid on-ball defender for Team 10.
