Oliver’s showing against East Metro Bounce on Sunday was the best I’ve seen the 6’9 big play. It took him a bit to get into the game, but in the second half he began taking over for his team. He showed a quick spin into a right handed hook shot on multiple occasions, made a Dirk-style fadeaway jumper while being fouled, and slid into position to block a handful of shots throughout the game. Flick has some strength on his frame, and moves pretty well at 6’9, able to get up and down the floor with ease, and move his feet to make plays at the rim. He’s been showing flashes all spring/summer, and will look to turn those flashes into consistent production moving forward.
