Expert Analysis
Michael Schneiderman | Prep Hoops Scout
Left handed shooting guard with some interesting upside due to length and slashing ability. Barriera has a developing perimeter skill set that will continue to impact as career progresses. He attacked the lane with balance and showed ability to finish through traffic using his wingspan outstretching defenders arms. Barriera also helped squeeze on the offensive glass and converted on put backs. With his handle he displayed skill to change direction using different speeds.
