Whisler is another point guard who was ready to lead his team this weekend. As a freshman, Whisler is expected to start on varsity this year. He showed a nice jumper with a high release point and also showcased his ability on the drive. Whisler was able to get paint touches and also had a nice touch on his few floaters. Another vocal player, who may need to be warned just a tad not to get too feisty when the whistle blows and ball is tipped.

You can just tell this 5’11” PG loves to play the game each and every time he steps on the court. Whisler has an excellent basketball IQ and is a tremendous passer, which make him a true floor general. He loves to get his teammates involved, but is also a very capable scorer himself. He has great handles which allow him to create his own shot, but can also beat you from deep, where he shoots the 3-ball at a very high rate. Whisler’s love of the game and hard-working mentality make him a prospect worth following as he continues to grow his game and mature as a player.
