The son of Michael Cooper very much inherited his athleticism because Nils is a skywalker. The 6’6 2023 senior showed off his elite finishing skills with jams and drives to the rim. He had a drive where he jumped and double pumped before throwing one down on the opposing defense. Right now much of his game is based off of his leaping and slashing ability. He has a good handle which allows him to get into the lane and get to the rim. He is a two way player as he moves very well on defense and is a menace at reading passes and jumping the lanes. Cooper finished with player of the game honors vs. Washington Prep.
