If you are looking for highlight-reel level athleticism, look no further than the Riverview Sonics ‘ Niko Joseph Niko Joseph 6'1" | PF/C FL . Joseph is an exceptional athlete who possesses explosiveness both vertically and laterally. As a help-side defender, Niko turned what looked to be routine layups into emphatic blocks, erasing what should’ve been an easy two points. Joseph also has an incredible motor, which was on full display every possession he was on the floor. Joseph would routinely turn his highlight reel blocks into outlet passes before sprinting down the floor and looking to throw down thunderous slams, an effort level that is rare amongst high school athletes.

The junior forward is a strong, high motor presence in the paint who consistently impacts the game with his effort and physicality. Though slightly undersized, he makes up for it with above-average athleticism and relentless energy. Still relatively new to organized basketball, Joseph offers significant upside as he continues to develop. He is particularly effective on the glass and finishes well around the rim, making him a productive interior contributor with room to grow.

He plays with a lot of passion and is the X-Factor for the Riverside Sonics. Whether Joseph is diving for the 50/50 balls, cleaning up around the rim, running the floor for the fastbreak, or using his length to block shots and defend the paint — he’s an athlete who does the little things that matter most.

Every team needs a hustle player like Joseph. He’s a strong forward who plays with a lot of heart and grit. He’s not afraid to bang with you down low and finish around the rim or draw the foul. He dives for the 50/50 balls, and when he’s in the zone, he’s unstoppable. Joseph can crash the boards and create opportunities for second-chance points around the rim. He runs the floor, uses active hands on the defense, and knows how to create opportunities for himself to be an impact player on both sides of the ball.
