Boateng was calm, cool and collected in Team Sims’ win over BABC on Saturday. The 6-foot guard is incredibly skilled as a ball handler and uses his quickness and deep bag to burst by defenders at will, but he can also knock down the three ball and pull up for easy jumpers outside the lane. Though he was getting pressured all game by an athletic and ferocious BABC press, the junior guard handled it like an absolute pro and came out on top because of his IQ, unselfishness and patience. He will be phenomenal for Lexington Christian this season and can probably play at the low scholarship or high D3 level.
