Operating out of Parkview High School in Lilburn, Georgia, the rising Junior has established himself as a high-level perimeter sniper who requires minimal airspace to get his shot off. Even in stretches where he wasn’t actively shooting, his presence fundamentally altered opposing game plans. Circuit defenders rarely risked helping off him, which opened up the middle of the floor for 4:44’s frontcourt playmakers to operate in single coverage and attack isolated gaps in the lane.
Richmond solidified Pemberton’s value as a high-IQ spacing specialist on the Pro-16 circuit. As he continues to develop his handle to counter hard closeouts with a secondary one-to-two dribble pull-up game, his recruiting stock will keep climbing.

The younger Pemberton brother played a key role for the Panthers this season. The sophomore is an impressive shot maker who averaged 11 points per game while shooting nearly 40% from beyond the arc. He spaces the floor effectively and consistently capitalizes on scoring opportunities. With shooting always at a premium for college programs, Pemberton’s ability to knock down perimeter shots makes him a promising long-term prospect.
