Eric Wallace | Prep Hoops Scout
Pemberton is coming off an All-State season at Parkview and brings an intriguing blend of size, length, and offensive versatility on the wing. A true three level scorer, he can stretch the floor, attack off the bounce, and finish effectively around the rim. He shows the ability to create his own offense, paired with above average athleticism that translates on both ends. With his physical tools and evolving skill set, there’s plenty of upside and long term potential here.

Pemberton has emerged as a breakout star and one of the most underrated players in Gwinnett County, with his name now circulating well beyond the local scene. A long, athletic, positionless player, he brings a point-forward skill set that allows him to impact the game in a variety of ways. Pemberton rebounds his position and pushes the ball up the floor himself, creating offense as a playmaker in transition. He attacks confidently from the wing, gliding to the rim with smooth finishes, and has proven he can knock down threes when left open. He’s also comfortable scoring with his back to the basket, taking advantage of mismatches in the post. Pemberton gets to his spots with ease and consistently finds ways to affect the game, making him a versatile and reliable contributor.
