About Nate

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a team first point guard. I pride myself in setting the table for my teammates and place a high value on taking care of the ball, which was evidenced by my nearly 4 to 1 A/TO ratio my junior year, which was tops for all Iowa 2026 point guards in Class 4A this past season.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Member of Muscatine High School Athletics Student Advisory Committee, Academic Letter, National Honor Society, Church Youth Group

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have always lead by example - working hard and doing the right things on and off the court. As I've matured in my career I've become more of a vocal leader as well.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My greatest significant challenge is recovering from a severe ankle injury sustained during a game in February 2025. Unfortunately, despite three months of limited activity and physical therapy, the injury did not heal properly and will require surgery in June. I'm facing 5-6 months of recovery and rehab before returning to competition. I expect to be 100% for my senior year of basketball.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for the right fit academically first and basketball second. My goal is to become a physical therapist.
