Myles Hosten, A 6-8 senior forward is a skilled big who has a great feel for the game on the interior. He moves exceptionally well for his size and can also knock down shots from the perimeter. He is very attractive on the defensive end as well where he can guard multiple positions and has continued to improve his footwork out on the perimeter. Look for Hosten to have a solid senior season where he could gain some interest from high-major D1 programs.

Hosten, a 6-7 rising senior wing continues to have an outstanding summer for Impact Christian Academy whether he’s becoming a lob threat or rebounding on the defensive end. Hosten plays with a ton of length and his size is an indication into forcing the opposition into taking a tough shot. His versatility on the offensive end has also continued to improve as he scores on multiple levels and play multiple positions.

The 6-7 rising senior is a problem for defenses when he is at the front of the rim. Hosten is a strong and efficient finisher on the interior as well as catching lobs. On the defensive end he has great footwork and is always in the right position to block the shot or secure a defensive rebound. His free throw percentage is also gotten better as he shoots nearly 70 percent from the free throw line.

Possessing a strong 6-7 frame, Hosten was able to play straight bully-ball for most of the day Saturday. With the ability to post-up his matchup, or take it on the deck and take it himself to the rack, it was nearly impossible to stop the rising senior. Oftentimes, all the defense could do was hope to foul Hosten, which didn’t fare well with his ability to knock down free throws at a high percentage.
