is a two-way star, and he showed that for St Andrews yesterday in their close loss to Miller. Miles is a fantastic slasher, and he had a few strong takes this game. Miles moves the ball well and is a good athlete. Miles was a problem on defense with his length and activity. He finished with game with 20 points, 8 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 3 steals.

Franklin’s versatility and two way ability was on display in a loss against Cardoza. Franklin finished the game with 17 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal. His length showed up defensively in passing lanes and offensively at the rim as finisher including a one hand poster dunk. He made plays for his teammates off the bounce and showed some connective passing chops.

-Franklin had a really impactful performance cut short by a tight whistle that fouled him out late in the 4Q of an eventual OT loss. Franklin was everywhere defensively and on the glass, closing out possessions and getting his team good looks in transition as either a playmaker or play-finisher. His stride steps and step-through finishes have really improved to capitalize on his opportunities in the paint. Like how his game has progressed to finding teammates slipping to the basket or spotted up on the perimeter as an on-ball creator, taking advantage of his scoring gravity to create easy looks for a supporting cast that lacks some self-creation. Want to see him be more assertive on the offensive end down the stretch of games because he usually makes the right play with the ball in his hands.

has put together a fantastic weekend for St. Andrews. He had some great takes in this game, and I’m sure he’ll have a few more offers after this weekend. Miles finished this game with 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.

had two fantastic games for St. Andrews today. He made some outstanding moves to get to the rim and finish. Miles is a bucket-getter and has been one of the weekend’s winners. He scored an efficient 22 points in a close win over Episcopal and then 18 points and 8 assists in another close win, this time over Miller School.

Another prospect that we’ve been tracking for awhile, Franklin showed his offensive versatility with an 11-point personal run at the beginning of the 2H to give VA Elite a big lead in a tight game with TTO National. Franklin floats to open pockets in the defense to create easy kick-out opportunities for teammates to either shoot or create from. A solid athlete that can mix it up on the glass, Franklin gets to a ton of rebounds and scores well off his pivot in the paint. With his ability to shoot and a standout offensive IQ, I expect his recruitment to heat up quite a bit this summer with a few A10 offers while hearing from some heavyweights like Virginia.

Miles is a tremendous prospect that has added a silky-smooth jumper to his long frame and wingspan. He has developed into a consistent shooter and runs the floor well in transition. On the defensive end, he uses his length to stand out with his shot-altering capabilities, making it difficult for opponents to score in the paint or on the perimeter. Miles is a legit Division 1 prospect.

-One of my favorite utility players in the area, Franklin turned in an efficient double-double performance to advance St. Andrew’s to the next round. His ability to switch defensively and mark guards has been extremely valuable in ball screen coverage for the Lions.
