Miller has gotten plenty of opportunity this season, as one of the better shot blockers in the state, fully maximizing his wide reach to protect the rim. At his best while rotating onto opposing drivers, he is adept at getting up to swat opponents and cover ground along both the perimeter or interior. Still capable of throwing down dunks in the open court, Miller is an integral piece of Colorado Academy’s success dating back to seasons prior.

Miller was second in 4A basketball in blocks per game last season with Colorado Academy, bringing height and mobility to clog the lane for opposing shotmakers. Possessing great instincts as a help defender, he does well getting into position early to alter shot attempts. Capable of grabbing rebounds on either end of the floor, his ability to add strength will be a difference maker for his overall amount of playing time, particularly with five seniors departing last season.

Miller stayed ready to push the break following a rebound, fairly mobile for his height. One of the more productive shot blockers in the 2025 class, the 6’7 forward’s timely rotations have provided Colorado Academy with plenty of momentum in transition. A high motor forward, Miller brought constant activity on the defensive end, vocal communicating screens to his perimeter teammates. Continuing to develop his offensive skill set will be important to Colorado Academy next season, likely seeking a greater offensive role from the incoming senior.

Miller has been one of the most productive shot blockers at the 4A level alongside 21-6 Colorado Academy. Among four 2025s at the 4A level with 2 or more blocks per game, the forward has carved out a necessary role for that group. Effective rotating over on help side or switching on more mobile guards, Miller is one of the more intriguing defensive forwards in this class. With Bureau, he will carve out another necessary role as the dirty work guy.
