Orbe is a defensive-minded 3&D guard. He applied ball pressure on his opponent every possession, bumped cutters, preventing any free cuts. He fought through screens and emphasized strong off-ball defense. Offensively, he was a reliable floor spacer, hitting several three-point shots and demonstrating the ability to make tough finishes around the rim.

Clocking in at 6’1”, Orbe was the silent cog in the machine that kept his team going at the Indiana session. Though he wasn’t filling up the stat sheet, it was the little things that he showed which impressed. His IQ on full display, relocating and finding open space for a teammate to receive the ball and knock down an open three-pointer and also being in the right place at the right time, grabbing an offensive board for a quick, springy put-back. He also led the break on multiple occasions and played connector as the assist man finding teammates in motion for open looks on the wings or for layups.

Another guard who can step right into catch and shoot three point attempts or navigate his way to the cup and finish with either hand. Orbe needs to be picked up as soon as he passes half court because he is confident in his shot making ability and not shy when he sees daylight. Don’t think he can’t drive either. If Orbe sees an opening, he’s taking it full speed to the rack, taking care of the ball to avoid it getting blocked and finishing strong at the rim.
