Summer Stock Risers: 2027 Combo Guards

With the summer grassroots season nearly complete and most evaluations done until the fall, the recruiting landscape for the Class of 2027 is beginning to take shape. Several prospects elevated their stock with strong performances throughout the June and July live recruiting periods. Florida's 2027 recruiting class features some of the top prospects in the country. Here is a look at a handful of combo guards in the 2027 class who did the most to boost their recruiting profile this summer.    Delancy helped lead the Florida Rebels to an EYBL title in North Augusta over the weekend. The Montverde Academy product averaged nearly 16 points per game at Nike's Peach Jam to end his grassroots career. The rising senior is a strong, quick, aggressive, scoring guard who can play with or without the ball in his hands. The St. Petersburg native plays with toughness and seems to be nearing the end of his recruitment with Houston, Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Maryland and Miami still involved.     [program_tooltip program_id='2076347' first='SOH' last='Elite']'s top scorer averaged over 20 points and shot over 37% from beyond the arc during the month of July. Orbe moves well without the ball and knows how to cut and use screens to get open at the offensive end. He is a reliable shot maker from distance and has the ability to be a playmaker with the ball in his hands. Orbe's best basketball is ahead of him and he will make a college coaching staff very happy with his commitment in the 2027 recruiting class.     Playing with plenty of other college prospects, Groce can be overlooked at times but he was a key contributor to AB Elite's success at the Peach Jam. The Dallas native is a quick, reliable lead guard who can make shots from beyond the arc. He is an effective finisher in the paint, has a high basketball IQ and has good strength for his position.     The Central Florida point guard helped lead Sunshine Elite to a 7-0 record at the Power 24, finishing the season as one of the top guard on the On The Radar Hoops circuit. A high academic prospect, Bynoe is a skilled ball handling guard who is a high level shot maker with range. The rising senior has an impressive feel for the game, above average quickness and is a reliable decision maker with the ball in his hands.     Fuller averaged 10 points per game on the adidas 3SSB circuit this month for MBJ Elite. He shot the ball well from beyond the arc and also showed his ability to be a playmaker averaging a team leading 2.4 assists per game. The rising senior has good strength, a good feel for the game and is capable of playing both guard spots.
