Phillips continues to hold his spot in the Top 10 as he moves in to the No. 5 position in the latest rankings update for the 2025 class. His ability to play above the rim defensively and alter shots has elevated him to the top shooting guard position. He’s averaging 22.5 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.3 blocks, 1.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game to showcase his all-around skills at the shooting guard role, but he’s much more than just a shooter as evidenced by his production. Look for him to make waves at Marquette in the Big East.

It wasn’t the result they wanted but Phillips certainly showed off why he’s highly-regarded by Marquette at the next level. He finished with 24 points, seven rebounds and five blocks to showcase his two-way wing ability on the hardwood. He was relentless, especially defensively at protecting the rim and showcasing his ability to score on all three levels. He’s an athletic wing who isn’t afraid to impact the game on both ends and it showed in his production.

Phillips has been a consistent presence in the Grace Christian School rotation, showing his growth as he moves into the 2025 class. He’s producing 23.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.2 blocks per contest through 13 games for the Eagles. He’ll be one to keep an eye on as conference play approaches given his ability to score the ball in a variety of ways.

Phillips is yet another prospect in the Boo Williams fold on the rise nationally as he showcases his athleticism and ability to shoot the ball with range in North Carolina’s 2026 class. Michigan, VCU, East Carolina, Georgetown and Wake Forest are the latest schools to offer him as the month of July heats up for him. Now listed at 6-foot-6, he’s turned into a fearless defensive presence who can attack the rim with reckless abandon as well. He’s certainly a name for HM programs to get eyes on as he continues to develop on the EYBL stage.

Phillips was another prospect from Boo Williams wjo impressed in his EYBL debut. He wasn’t the most efficient in his final game but he had his greatest output, with 24 points while going 8-of-9 from the free throw line. He knocked down a total of 11 3-pointers across their four games in Session I. He’s a sharpshooter to keep eyes on in the 2026 class.

He produced 16.2 PPG, 6.4 RPG, 1.5 BPG, 1.5 SPG and 1.2 APG as a two-way shooting guard presence at 6-foot-5. He’ll be a prospect to keep an eye on with Boo Williams on the EYBL scene.

Phillips was one of a few key pieces in the Grace Christian Academy rotation who stood out on the NCISAA stage in 2023-24. The 6-foot-5 sophomore produced 16.2 PPG, 6.4 RPG, 1.5 SPG and 1.2 APG on the year while shooting 37 percent from deep on the year. His 97 made 3-pointers for the Eagles ranked eighth in the entire state of North Carolina and 110th nationally, according to MaxPreps. He’s shown a penchant for rebounding the basketball as he also racked up five double-doubles as he continues his development. He’ll be a name to keep an eye on this grassroots season with Boo Williams.
