Not enough people are talking about Colinn, but that will certainly change this year. Excellent positional size for a PG and his passing is some of the best in the state. He anticipates plays before they happen and has the vision to pass teammates open. Dynamite decision maker, especially in transition with the defense on their heels. Most importantly, he takes care of the ball and does not force anything that’s not there.

Colinn is not a one trick pony on the offensive end. He’s a much-improved shooter from outside and the staff hopes that progress continues. Speaking with Coach Morris, he put an emphasis on getting Colinn more consistent with his shot making from deep. His mid-range pull up is effective, as well as his downhill finishing. Combining that with a consistent outside shot puts him at another level. After leading the team in assists last year, expect the same this year but with more points per game as well.

Morris will definitely find himself amongst the ranked members of this class once updated next year due to the fact that he is a proven producer over his first year and change on the varsity team at Grace Christian. Morris is a strong 6’2″ PG that can make outside shots, exploit less athletic defenders when attacking, and do more than just hold his own defensively. Morris is a really tough kid that is willing to compete in the physical aspects of the game. He’s more in control than he was as a freshman when running the offense, showing tremendous improvement as a true PG. Morris should continue to make real strides in his overall game and is a guy worth tracking over the next few years.
